3 hours a week is all it really takes to live your healthiest life. With a properly executed exercise program and a healthy eating plan in place, you can truly make your 60 the new 40.
What to do and how much time you need?
Living your healthiest life requires a lot less time than you think. Start by doing 3, 30-minute resistance workouts a week. Yep, that’s all the time you need. And, you will have time to do this because you will no longer be doing those long, drawn-out cardio sessions. Instead, you should be doing short-burst cardio intervals that are far more effective and take no more than 20 minutes from beginning to end.
Don’t forget about your nutrition.
In addition to doing resistance workouts, adopt an easy-to-follow healthy eating plan that includes all of the foods you love to eat but in proper portion size. And, follow the 90/10 rule: 90% of the time, eat as healthy as possible; the other 10%, eat what you want to eat.
It’s the beginning of February now. If your New Years Resolutions have been simmering in the back of your mind for the past month, stop feeling guilty and do something about it. Remember what John Lennon said: “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” Stop procrastinating and take action today.
